Sodding & Seeding
Weather in Atlanta can support both warm and cool-season turfgrasses giving us a number of grass options to suit specific needs. Most warm-season grasses, like bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and St. Augustine, are sodded and thrive in the summer but will become dormant in the winter. Conversely, cool-season grasses, like fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass, can be seeded or sodded and thrive in the spring and fall. While cool-season grasses can struggle in the heat of summer, they retain their dark green color in the winter. Based on your needs, we can recommend the best grass species and handle the process from start to finish.
